Obama Fiddles While "Rome" Burns

I am numb as I hear about the taxes, taxes and fees (read, taxes), that Obama, Pelosi, and Reid crafted. I am numb when I hear that each individual in America, if we had to shell out money straight out of our own pockets to pay our government's 2010 3 and 1/2 trillon dollar budget, we would have to place into Obama's hands (each one of us, mind you) about $12,000. The Democrats are spending in 6 weeks, now, more than President Bush spent in 8 years!! You out there need to work harder for the collective good. I am numb thinking how my daughter's future is eroding before my eyes. Lastly, I am numb watching Obama fiddle while his best cronies burn through our money and future.

I learned recently that Altanta, Georgia's symbol is the Phoenix. Think, "Burnin' Sherman." I am here to say that if we continue down this path Obama is leading us down, we as Americans will have to scrub the Eagle and adopt the Phoenix, too. That is, we could adopt the Phoenix if we have the God-given opportunity to rise out of the ashes to rebirth. I pray that God has mercy on us and will raise up Godly men and women to wash through our political system.

Conservatives Rule

Do you know why conservatives could be against anything Obama and his minions have done, right out of the gate? It's extremely rudimentary, elementary, actually. Let's use common examples of old to explain. If it looks like a liberal, if it talks like a liberal, if it acts like a liberal, it must be a liberal. A leopard doesn't change it's spots. Conservatives understand that liberals tax, spend, and don't play by the rules or fairly. There is nothing new under the sun about them, they are very clear in their forked-tongue kind of way. These are the types that our mothers said we could not go over to their homes, but they could come play over here. And do you know why your mother would not let you go over there? You might learn some bad things...listen up you Republicans, you went over to the house of the liberals and learned some bad things, like spending beyond our means, living it up like crazy, in general, learning the bad habits of those with bad morals in the neighborhood. Now, "we the people" in the neighborhood are having to pay for your indulgences since the immoral have taken over through your dereliction of duty. It's easy sand box "math" to see what is happening here... and the liberal bullies are running the sand box, now. I am waiting for the grown-ups to wake up and reinstill the rules that govern all the people here in the U.S. of A. It's as basic as death and taxes, but wait, the liberals don't pay taxes.

My email to Senator Kay Hagan (D-NC)

Senator Hagan, Please vote NO on the Stimulus Bill. It is not stimulating, it is socialization of medicine, our economy, and more! Please, please, please go against Senator Reid and vote no. Please protect our economy, our society.

Sincerely,

Andrea Norberg
Waxhaw, NC

Socialist Bill, Not a Stimulus Bill!!

A new agency to monitor medical activities?

I just can't believe this stimulus bill! I am horrified with the socialist, Big-Brother provisions being hidden within this tome of doom. The fear-factor is this bill, not what will happen to our economy if we don't pass it! Even if America went into a depression, that would be far more acceptable than the government mortgaging our future off, not to mention my daughter's!! Lots of money to Acorn? Limiting medical services to the elderly? Watching over how our doctors treat us? Amnesty provisions for illegal aliens? This is stimulus?? Let me repeat that, that is not going to stimulate my local economy. We are getting: Pork, pork, big government, pork, socialization of our society which has been proven not to work for hundreds and hundres of years (why work hard if the gov't takes your money to give to others who don't work and could?). Horrible.

I am truly disgruntled, unhappy, dissatisfied with this bill. The President should go back to his speech of last weekend demanding bi-partisanship from Congress, and that means letting the Republicans get ahold of this bill and taking out all the highly odorous crapola inside it!!

Call your Senator. Tell them to vote no.
